A new gig has been confirmed! Crucifix will, together with DIE, warm up
for the legendary Gorefest. It will all take place at Voxhall in Aarhus,
Denmark on March 19th. Hope to see a lot of you metal bangers there. The
brutal assault begins at 21.00 hours

The recording of our debut album went well. Right now Necromorbus is mastering the album. It sounds killer.
More details about the cover, tracklist and album title will follow soon.
During the recording sessions Martin decided to leave Crucifix. We wish the best of luck for him in the future. The bass on the recording is done by Maans.
The next brutal death metal assault will take place at The Rock, Copenhagen - Denmark, at the 18th. of August, with our speed thrashing friends Victimizer. This will be the final assault from these cool fuckers. Be sure to witness this final night of steel & destruction.
Rune Koldby of Spectral Mortuary will be playing the bass at this gig.
This evil night begins at 21.00 hours.

Crucifix is once again a five-piece. Rune Gangelhof (Bloodrush, Megalomania 999) has joined the legion as the permanent leadguitarist. We are certain that this will add a new dimension to our live performance and studio recordings.
Furthermore, during the past months we have been negotiating with the French record label Aural Offerings and we are proud to announce that we have come to an agreement on a brilliant deal.
This means that we will be entering All Sound Studios, Herning - Denmark, on the 1st of June this year to record our debut full-length album.
Expect nothing but the fiercest, most brutal Danish death metal album ever!

A new gig is confirmed. It will take place at Harmonien in Svendborg on Febuary 24th. supporting Victimizer.This is the first gig with Victimizer ever and we are looking forward to support them on there 2nd. last gig ever.

2 weeks ago Morten Flindt told us that he needed some time off from Crucifix. We respect his wish and there are no hard feelings between us. We will continue on as a four-piece band.

It's been a long time since any updates but rest to sure that we are not slowing down.
During the last couple of months we've been talking/negotiating to 2 labels but sad to say, we couldn't agree on terms. So we're gonna go back into the studio sometime late June to record a new demo. This time in another studio but still keeping it local and simple. We're gonna stay true to our roots and keeping it brutal and true oldschool deathmetal. FUCK NU-metal!!!!!
So expect a release sometime late summer.

If you missed out on the shows last weekend it's your bad. First off we destroyed Esbjerg on Friday eve along side with Spectral Mortuary and Destinity. The show went well and the beer was plenty.
On Saturday we demolished Herning with Dawn of Demise and Cyanid. Despite some problems with the gear, thanks to Martin from DOOM of Demise for the amp, the show was a blast. We thank the bands whom we played with and would also like to send out our biggest thanks to the people who showed up at the gigs to support underground metal in Denmark.

A little update on how things are going.
Things are going great with new frontman Simon. He keeps surprising us at every rehearsel. He is quick to learn and has his own approach to the songs. Gigs are being booked and we will post them as soon as we can confirme the dates. A photo session has been booked so be sure to check in soon for some new pictures of the band.

Call off the search - He has been found!!!
The holydays turned out great for Crucifix and so we are proud to announce the adding of new frontman, Simon Skyrme. We had a few guys up for audition but after hearing Simon there was no need for others to come in. He has a great voice and is a very cool guy. Also, he has been a somewhat fan of Crucifix and knew some of the material before jamming with us. He is very dedicated to the music and quick to learn so all in all things seem to turn out great for the band.
The band will now focus on writing new material for a forthcoming demo as well as teaching Simon the old stuff.
Be sure to tjeck for updates once in while as Crucifix set out to write a new chapter in blood!!!!!!!!!!

It is with sadness we recieved the news about Jens. He has been great and everything you could wish for in a frontfigure. However, when your heart isn't in it anymore it's time to step down. Jens did so and we respect him for that & wish him the best of luck in the future with Vitimizer and Church Bizzare. Tjeck out their releases come early 2006

However, the slaughtering must go on and so we are looking for a new singer.

Enter The Temple of Shadows
I have decided to step down from my position as the vocalist In Crucifix.
Originally I was only supposed to help the guys as a session singer for a while but the band took more and more of my time and money mainly due to the 4 hour distance and the time has come to go our seperate ways.
I am not really into modern death metal at all and my heart lies more in old school satanic black /thrash death metal. I am currently very busy with my other bands Victimizer and Church Bizarre and recently I have accepted the offer to be the singer in a well known black metal legion. On top of all this I also have a lot of work with my record label /distribution Pentagram Warfare.
I wish the guys the best of luck in their search for a new vocalist and we will always remain friends. My final work in Crucifix will be helping them out with one more live show and recording vocals for the next demo.

Finally in the studio again with Alberto Gallista as our producer. Everything is going very well - the new songs are kickin' ass. So far drums, ryhthm guitar and bass has been recorded. We'll be doing vocals and lead guitar soon.
