"Death metal of the grim and brutal kind is what the Danish band Crucifix delivers, a band that has haunted the underground since 1993, though this is still the first full release I've heard from them, before this all I've caught have been a track here and there, and to be honest, I didn't remember their music as hardhitting and wellmade as its shown on this demo.

The 3 tracks on "Endless Infernum" show a band set out to conquer, fierce and heavy death metal. The base of the music is heavy with good riffing, very groovy at times and with some grim and catchy melodies that sucks the listener in from the first second, and keeps the attention in a tight grip through out all 3 tracks. The compositions are well made and with emphasis on power and brutality, which makes it hard not be carried away while listening to the music. The bass lines are also delivered great and are placed well in the mix. The drumming is good and solid as well, very alternated and brutal with a nice technical touch, and we get all from very fast blasting to more well-weighed mid-paced play. The growl from the new man Skyrme is also good, a deep guttural growl mixed with an evil scream here and there, perfectly fitted for the musical approach and style!

The production on the demo is quite good as well as the music, heavy but still with a good focus on the details, which is a good thing, as music as this quick can become a bit chaotic and messy, though that does not happen here, great work!

Crucifix is today a mature band ready to take on the world, judging from this demo, they should be ready for a record-deal and be ready to unleash a full length album, it might not be the most original death metal the band delivers, though they hit a niche that not that many bands deliver music in, so there should be room on the scene for the band, together with Crucifix delivering their metal better and more varied than a few already signed bands. Check this demo out and feel the pain hit your neck as you bang your head!"
